Madhubani art is an Indian Folk Art, which encourages and celebrates imperfection in drawing. It is a traditional Indian painting style with its origins dated back to 8th or 7th century BC. This style of art is unique, simple, fun & easy to make.
In this 2-week workshop, Swati will guide you step-by-step to create a beautiful peacock, on A3 size paper, using drawing pens.
By using simple & repetitive patterns, participants usually find this art to be mindful & relaxing. So why not come & experience something new & different?
Swati is a local professional artist, who has been teaching Madhubani art to children and adults for the last four years. Her tutoring style is fun and informative.
