How To Find Us

How to Reach Us

The CORE THEATRE Solihull (formerly known as Solihull Arts Complex) is part of THE CORE building in Theatre Square, Touchwood. The back of the building sits on Homer Road, next to Solihull Police Station. Theatre Square is reached either from Touchwood, or by a walkway from Homer Rd, up the side of the new CORE building.  There are many other community facilities within this shared building including Solihull Central Library, Solihull Connect and various voluntary sector teams and services.

By Car

Touchwood (Homer Road) is our nearest car park. Park in the Orange Zone and use escalators or lift which bring you to the entrance to Theatre Square. If you plan to arrive by taxi, your driver cannot enter Touchwood to ‘drop off only’ without taking and paying for a ticket. We recommend that drop-offs are made at Manor Walk (near the St Alphege Church/Council House).

If you plan to park in Touchwood, please note there is an evening flat rate of £1.70 if you arrive after 6pm, but you will be charged an hourly rate throughout the evening if you arrive before 6pm. Please see the  Touchwood website for further details.  Please note: vehicles with a height above 2.1m will be unable to gain access due to height restrictions. Drop off on Homer Road and park minibus/coach in nearby Monkspath Hall carpark which is outdoors. Call box office for further advice.

Please note: Car parks are very busy during peak times, please allow extra time to arrive and park before your show starts. Church Hill car park is nearby.

The M42 motorway, J5, is one mile away from Solihull town centre providing access to the M5, M6 and M40 motorways.

By Bus

Regular buses connect Solihull with most parts of the West Midlands. Most routes pass through the town centre along Poplar Road and Station Road. Our venue can be reached by walking through Touchwood, or from Homer Road. Contact Box Office for details of where hired coaches can drop-off.

By Rail

Solihull station is just five minutes walk from the town centre. Services operate from Birmingham on a regular basis.
