Vicki Gorman Art Classes are daytime classes for adults who want to learn or develop drawing and painting skills. The course is run throughout the year and the lessons are held during the school term times. Once you join as a member your place is secure. Lessons are held either on a Thursday morning or afternoon depending on what time suits you.

All abilities and ages are welcome. Vicki has over 20 years of experience in teaching art to adults and the classes are informative, fun and inspiring. They involve focused projects every two weeks where you can learn new techniques, and you can work on your own individual projects. Vicki demonstrates techniques at the beginning of the class and you can try them out yourself, she also helps you one to one throughout the course.

The lessons cover different subjects throughout the year such as landscape, figurative, still life and mixed media, and Vicki always keeps the subjects interesting and inspiring. Vicki demonstrates different media such as pencils, pastels and watercolours, acrylic and gouache. She works with developing your individual interests with her main aim being to help you recognise and develop your own art style.

This friendly group lesson takes place in the Courtyard Gallery space (the gallery is open to the public during classes). All abilities are welcome, both beginners and advanced, with classes suitable for ages 18+. The course is run through a monthly paid membership which you can cancel any time and runs throughout the year the same as the school term times.
