The ArtLab course builds on the Art Club journey. As well as continuing to boost your child’s creativity, confidence, wellbeing, resilience and problem-solving skills, ArtLab starts developing greater independence, promotes personal curiosity and starts introducing additional opportunities to explore the creative arts through real world projects. The age guide is just that–a guide. We are focussed on individual development so some children and young people could benefit from Art Club before ArtLab to build up confidence.
All materials are provided except art folders (available for purchase at first session for £8.00). Please bring an apron or wear old clothes – being creative can get messy!
ArtLab is powered by Art at the Heart CIC – qualified artist lecturers with 25+ years of experience working with young people.
We accept late starters dependent on places. For more information contact office@artattheheartcic.org
Arts Award – Young people will have the opportunity to achieve Arts Award at either Explore or Bronze levels, aligned to age and developmental stage.
Bookings must be made in advance through the AATH website: https://www.artattheheartcic.org/events/artlab-january-march-2024/
