FREE programme of live music, dance and spoken word showcasing South Asian culture.

Sampad bring an eclectic blend of dance and music to Shirley Park in Solihull along with a selection of fun workshops, with something suitable for all ages. Get ready for an amazing showcase of South Asian culture here in Shirley!

The programme includes:

Ultimate Bhangra – Walsall based Bhangra group will be sure to get you on your feet in a group workshop, showcasing bhangra moves and dhol drumming!

Natasha Seth – you’ve heard her on ‘The Voice’ - here Natasha will be singing recognisable songs in both English and Hindi.

India Island Academy – an exciting large scale Bollywood dance group whose energy is infectious. They will take you on an thrilling journey through film.

Devika Rao – performing classical Yakshagana routines throughout the day, this group's dazzling costumes are always eye catching and thier dancing a wonder to behold. Their performances will be both on the stage and in and amongst the audience.

Sohan Kailey – DJing right to the end of the party, mixing chart toppers with Bollywood and Bhangra beats!

Mehndi Artist – available all day to provide henna artwork on audience members hands with a variety of styles and shapes.
