Preparing for your GCSE or A-Level art exam and need some quick, effective practice? Want to develop your portfolio? Don’t worry- you’re in the right place. Introducing ‘Enhance’: a fast-paced, high-intensity course designed to drive you to achieve the best grade possible. Push beyond the curriculum, stretch your abilities and discover the power of art.
The Course
So, what do we do, and how are we different?
Art at the Heart aims to empower you to discover your own creative expression.
Our course teaches you not what to think, but how to think. We work in condensed blocks- one lesson you’ll be doing intensive painting, learning about colour theory and the importance of blocking in, and the next you’ll be drawing, experimenting with mark-making and composition. Within just a few sessions, you’ll cover and develop an arsenal of skills and knowledge, applicable to every piece of art you will do in the future.
If you’re expecting a typical classroom lesson, think again! We support your individual creative development with a healthy dose of collaborative learning. Every session will be accompanied by a group crit, enhancing your personal skills, and your ability to work alongside others. You’ll be able to bounce ideas off like-minded peers and learn to articulate your creative process.
Meet the Course Tutors:
Art at the Heart is run by Kamaljit and Mukesh (directors).
