Wishes will come true as pantomime returns to The Core Theatre this Christmas!

Aladdin flies into The Core Theatre on Saturday 6 December and will run until Sunday 4 January. With spectacular sets, breathtaking special effects, gorgeous costumes and mountains of mayhem, the award-winning Little Wolf Entertainment are bringing panto back to Solihull with their most lavish, action-packed family adventure so far!

You’ll be whisked away to the town of Shangri-La where the sorcerers are sinister, the caves are full of surprises, and the genies have been bottling things up for a bit. Tickets are selling fast, so don’t delay - it doesn’t take a genie-us to know that one of your three wishes should be to see Aladdin at The Core Theatre this Christmas!

This year's relaxed performance of Aladdin will take place on Tuesday 30 December and is now available to book online.

Christmas time means party time, and everyone’s invited to Santa’s Christmas Party from Friday 19 December to Wednesday 24 December in The Studio at The Core! This interactive family show for 2-8 year-olds sees every child get the chance to receive a special present from Father Christmas in a meet, greet and treat! Help Santa and his friends stop Jack Frost’s mischief and get Santa’s Christmas Party back on track in an adventure full of fun, festive songs and party games.

On Saturday 13 December, Teena Bizkit returns to The Studio at The Core with Teena’s Tinsel Time Tunnel, a Christmas cabaret with a time-travel twist, packed with laughs, games, and retro fun!

Discover something truly special this winter at the Solihull Arts Markets, a brand-new series of festive events at The Core celebrating creativity, craftsmanship and community. Browse and buy a wide variety of high-quality handmade work including ceramics, fused glass, jewellery, textiles, prints, and festive decorations. Running every weekend this month up until Sunday 21 December, this is the perfect opportunity to find unique gifts and support small creative businesses!

Finally, celebrate the winter solstice and the new year with Winter Folk, a contemporary art exhibition displaying diverse works from West Midlands artists centred around folk traditions, winter landscapes, objects woven from the natural world and seasonal figurative paintings. Winter Folk will be free to view in The Courtyard Gallery from Friday 12 December to Saturday 10 January.
