Solihull Council and Culture Solihull are proud to present the second annual Short is Beautiful Film Festival in association with IMA Festival, which will take place on the evening of Tuesday 22 October at Cineworld, Solihull.

Short is Beautiful aims to give both new and established West Midlands filmmakers the chance to try out new ideas, concepts, and ways of working. This year’s festival audience can expect to see a whole host of exciting and innovative short films – including a screening of the cinema preview of new horror/experimental film ‘The House With the Waiting Windows’ by Louis Price.

The audience will also have the opportunity to ask any industry questions in a live Q&A panel with the judges. This will be followed by an awards ceremony where the best film from each category will be announced, with an overall winner crowned at the end of the night.

Last year’s overall winner Lewis Clements returns to the festival this year as a member of the judging panel, along with TV and film industry experts Daniel Alexander, Nicola Prestage and Chris Hale.
