Our House is the Olivier Award-winning musical by Tim Firth, writer of Calendar Girls, featuring the songs of Madness. St. Alphege Musical Production Society are delighted to be bringing it to the stage at The Core Theatre Solihull this Autumn.
Set in 1980s Camden, Our House tells the story of London lad Joe Casey who, on the night of his sixteenth birthday, tries to impress his date Sarah by breaking into a building development that overlooks his home. When the police turn up, Joe has to make a choice – run away and save himself, or stay with Sarah and face the music.
Featuring a selection of classic Madness hits including House of Fun, Baggy Trousers, Driving in my Car, It Must Be Love and of course Our House!
